When each discipline has produced its own bill, someone still has to build the collection page. Method and assumptions

subtotal = Σ discipline subtotals
after preliminaries = subtotal × (1 + preliminaries%)
after overhead & profit = after preliminaries × (1 + OH&P%)
grand total = after overhead & profit × (1 + contingency%)

Each discipline subtotal comes from that discipline's own detailed BOQ and is entered by the user.
Quantities and unit rates are entirely user-entered from the project's own take-off and quotations; the tool assumes no market price.
Preliminaries, overhead & profit and contingency percentages are applied cumulatively on the subtotal, matching standard BOQ collection-page practice.
