1. Acceptance and eligibility

By using this website, creating an account or completing a purchase, you agree to these terms between you and ALASOS-ENGR (United Arab Emirates).

You must have legal capacity to contract in your country of residence. If you use the site on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind it to these terms.

2. Accounts and credentials

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account details, for keeping your credentials confidential, and for all activity under your account.

If you notice unauthorised use, tell us immediately at alasos.net@mail.com. Accounts are personal and may not be shared or sold.

3. Books and digital content

A purchase grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access the purchased content inside the website for your own individual or professional use.

You may not copy content, download it beyond what the site allows, redistribute, republish, resell or share it, and you may not circumvent protection measures, the reader, preview limits, or scrape content automatically.

4. Prices, payment and invoices

Prices are shown in the currency displayed at purchase, and taxes or fees may apply under applicable law or through your payment provider or bank.

An order is complete and entitlements are granted only after the payment is confirmed server-side with the payment provider. Once confirmed, your invoice becomes available inside your account.

Entitlements may be revoked if a payment turns out to have failed, been cancelled, refunded or disputed.

5. Cancellation and refunds

Cancellation and refunds follow the policy shown at the point of purchase for each product or service, together with any mandatory rights under applicable law. This page does not create a new or different refund policy.

6. Engineering tools and calculators

Tool, calculator and bill-of-quantity outputs are indicative aids only and depend entirely on the inputs you enter and on the assumptions shown inside the tool.

A qualified engineer must review every result before it is used for design, execution or pricing. These outputs are not an engineering approval and do not replace the codes and specifications applicable to your project.

7. Engineering design section

Design requests are subject to technical review and a separate quotation that defines scope, deliverables, number of revisions and timeline. Submitting a request is not acceptance of it.

A quotation does not implicitly include any government or licensed-consultant approval or stamp unless this is stated expressly and in writing.

Availability depends on the project type and country and must be confirmed before work begins.

8. Uploads and DWG files

You keep ownership of the files you upload and confirm you have the right to upload them and share them with us to fulfil your request.

Files are held in private storage, accessible to you and to the authorised team handling the request. Uploading malware, unlawful files or content that infringes others' rights is prohibited, and we may refuse or delete any file that breaches this.

9. Affiliate program

Participation in the affiliate program is governed by its separate terms, covering commission, the attribution window, payout setup requirements and prohibited conduct. Where they conflict, the program terms prevail on program matters.

10. Acceptable use

You may not attempt to hack or probe the site without permission, exceed usage limits, access other users' data, circumvent payment or entitlements, abuse forms and reviews or send spam, or use the site for any unlawful purpose.

11. Intellectual property

The website, its content, design, brand, tools and texts are owned by or licensed to ALASOS-ENGR. No ownership right is transferred to you by these terms or by a purchase.

12. Third-party services and links

The site relies on third-party services such as the payment provider, email provider and analytics, and may link to sites we do not control. We are not responsible for their practices or availability.

13. Account suspension

We may suspend or restrict an account where we suspect fraud, abuse or a material breach of these terms, while respecting the rights you have actually purchased and your mandatory legal rights. We aim to notify you where that is possible and appropriate.

14. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, nor that tool outputs are suitable for any specific project.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses or loss of profit arising from your use of the site. Nothing here limits our liability for our own fault or excludes any mandatory right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

15. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the competent courts of the UAE have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them, without prejudice to any mandatory rights you may have under the law of your country of residence.

16. Changes and contact
